Please, please, please.

Anyone know where I can get my grubby mitts on the Pet Shop Boys remix of MGMT's Kids?
'Cause it's a bit good.

UPDATE!

A kind gentleman send me the link that I was looking for... From blog We Can Be Honest Here is the remix

MGMT - Kids (PSB synthpop mix)

New (ting) Tings.

I love rainy nights in, it means that I actually sit down and listen to some music that I have downloaded over the past few weeks. Such as...

Sonny J. Released his album Disastro in June, you probably recognise the name from such hits as Can't Stop Moving and Handsfree (If You Hold My Hand) which I posted a video of a while back right here. The whole album has this great uplifting feel to it, mainly dancey with some really familiar samples thrown in for good measure. Get it.

This remix of the Ting Ting's That's Not My Name by Tom Neville is actually blindingly (or should that be deafeningly) good.

The Ting Ting's - That's Not My Name (Tom Neville Remix)

I was never much of a fan of the Backstreet Boys (was anyone?) however, the Headshotboyz have done a dance remix of their song Everybody which is going to be or quite possibly already has been, an absolute storm in clubs that I quite possibly frequent.

The Backstreet Boys - Everybody (headshotboyz remix)

I'm becoming SUCH a fan of Crookers remixes, I already told you about their Busy P remix, and now I'm going to show you their ACDC remix, yup.

ACDC - Thunderstruck (Crookers Remix)

Loving Herve ft plastic little - Cheap Thrills, but it seems like no one wants me to be able to write about it and share this wonderful version as it is quite unobtainable, however, if you listen to Annie Mac's Mash Up show from last Friday, it's the second song in. So there you go.

Turn Your Speakers UP.

Primary 1 - Hold Me Down (The Shoes Remix)

Mascotte - Disco Bitch (Disko Nap Remix)

Busy P - To Protect and Entertain (Crookers Remix)

The Shoes - Baby I'm For Real

Madonna - Give It 2 Me (Paul Oakenfold Remix)

I love The Shoes.

For some reason, I really like Moby's Disco Lies. But, even better is this remix:

A Quick Jump into 2008

So 2007 was very much Kate Nash's year in the category of female pop/acoustic/soulish kind of singer. In my opinion, Kate Nash is now really old news, I love her album but the hype surrounding 'Foundations' quite simply was out of this World.
We saw her in Brighton for the Great Escape festval at Pressure Point, a small capacity venue, back in May 07' and I know now, you could never dream of seeing her in such a small venue. Shame.

This year, I am really exicted about two (relitavely) new female singers - Duffy and Adele. We also saw Adele at the GE at Red Roaster, seriously intimate and enjoyable. Duffy I am yet to see but desperate to.
I found this amazing re-mix of the song 'Mercy' done by the incredible Dunproofin. Adele's album '19' is really, really good. There isn't a song on there that I don't like. With these two being tipped to battle it out in 2008, Duffy needs to come out with something seriously good to stay in the competition.

As most people who know me know, I am obsessed with remixes and also with discovering new music. Although I keep a personal blog, I am going to start this music one up just to recommend music that I find really. Often stolen from other similar blogs but really just so that I can keep track of what I need to download and listen to.
